New Door Styles for Fall 2019

New Product Releases

When it comes to new wood door style options in cabinetry, the shaker door style has continued to dominate the market.

For several years now a shaker style has been a popular choice in the wood and MDF for the traditional and transitional kitchen designs. The Slab door style is becoming a more common choice in kitchen design as we move to a focus on mid-century modern and Scandinavian styles. Textured laminates have also grown in popularity in a slab door style.

Since the traditional style continues to dominate, Superior Cabinets has refreshed our selection of flat panel door styles to include 3 new 5 Piece Flat Panel options that are available in Wood or MDF. They are available in five wood species including, Maple, Oak, Hickory, Cherry, Rift Cut White Oak and Black Walnut. These hot and new door styles are guaranteed not to disappoint.

The Nevada Door by Superior Cabinets

The Nevada Door by Superior Cabinets is a gorgeous new edition. It has a shaker vibe, but offers a cleaner and sharper outside 1/16” eased edge on the outside of the door. This new cabinet door features 2 ¼” Stiles and Rails and is perfect if you enjoy crisp and clean lines in your kitchen.

The Arizona Door by Superior Cabinets

The Arizona door features 3” Stiles and Rails, for that wider look that many enjoy. The inside rout of the door has a clean 30 degree rout transitioning to the center panel. The outside eased edge offers that nice clean look that designers and home owners enjoy.

The Georgia Door by Superior Cabinets

If you craving a sweet door style, ensure Georgia is on your mind. The Georgia Door by Superior Cabinets is an elegant door style that bridges the gap between contemporary and transitional styles. The inside rout has an inset cove detail and features 3” Stiles and Rails.

Surprisingly, choosing a cabinet door style for most clients is an easy decision. You either like the transitional style of a Flat or Raised panel door or the contemporary aesthetic of a slab door. Once that decision is made, work with your kitchen designer to create a design that will blend your style and requirements for functionality. We always recommend choosing a door style you will love for many years.
